Counseling to Change
Counseling to Change, LLC is a Licensed Professional Counseling office that was established in 2005 and offers a full range of counseling services. There are two office locations, one in Jefferson City, MO and a new office in Cape Girardeau, MO. Counseling sessions are provided at these locations for clients desiring face to face and online sessions by calling 573-496-0101. Appointments are available throughout the week.

Janese is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Counseling to Change, specializing in Christian Counseling. She has extensive experience addressing a wide range of issues, including stress, workplace challenges, suicidal ideation, trauma, depression, anxiety, bullying, grief, and anger management. She is known for her work with couples and other relationship issues.

Janese has a rich background in both public and private sectors. She worked for the State of Missouri along with her private counseling practice. She has taught at State Fair University and University of Missouri. She has appeared on Fox News providing guidance on bullying in the schools, and on local radio programs, and has made presentations at various conferences and organizations in the United States.

She has received corporate, national and states awards in leadership and diversity. She holds a doctorate from the University of Missouri, a master’s in education from Lincoln University and attended Maryville University School of Business.

In 2005, Janese founded Counseling to Change, LLC, a counseling service located just outside Jefferson City, MO. She recently opened a counseling service in Cape Girardeau, MO. It is next to the Schultz Retirement Apartments on South Pacific.
